Roller Conveyor
- Consists of rollers mounted between the two slide members.
- Bearings are incorporated in the rollers to reduce to reduce mechanical losses.
- Roller conveyor may be unpowered or powered.
- An unpowered gravity roller conveyor is set at an appropriate angle so that goods slide on it by gravity.
- In powered roller conveyor, the drive unit is so incorporated that drives the rollers via chains or belts providing control led horizontal movement of goods.
- Have flat bases or be fitted with skids in the direction of the movement.
- Although these conveyors the unitized and standardized but it can also be custom-built to any combination of roller and frame size depending upon the capacity and the material to be handled.
